VIP status
So I only had time to post some pictures last but I'll give a little description and background now.
The washington brewers fest happens every year in a different place in the state and this year it was in Redmond WA. A-mac and I had talked to the brewer for PT brewing company and got in contact with the sales manager. He said that he needed some help on Sunday at the fest and could get us in on Sat too. Super stoaked, alex and I decided we were going to ride down on Saturday to partake in the festivities and then pour on Sunday. We got a little lost as usual but finally got to the park. We went up to an official looking guy with a badge and said we were working for PT brewing so he pointed us to a tent and let us right in. At the tent we said, again, we were working for PT and gave her our names. The lady said our names weren't on the list but gave us official badges and pointed us to the VIP brewers lounge with bbq and some speciality beers. So with no prior qualification except confidence we were sippin beers with the head brewers and eating all the food we could. Eventually we found the PT sales manager and he told us he had notified the lady that he had volunteers coming but for a little while we felt pretty VIP. We later met up with Nadeeka and had a blast tasting all the washington beers! We crashed the night with a very nice woman who was happy to host some touring beer lovers and spent the next day pouring all the fine ales PT has to offer. The ride home was interesting since we left at 7pm but soaking wet at 3am we arrived back home from a successful weekend.
Oh and amac hit 3500 miles since he moved west!
